Had a doctor at hospital check my balls for appendicitis (my appendix isn't in my nutsack). Also had the ol' finger up the arse, which wasn't exactly an enjoyable experience, having a 40+ year old sarcastic bastard hanging out of you by his finger.

This is the main issue imo. There's no real way to tell if someone is pregnant or not. You just have to take their word for it. I've seen so many instances where I or someone else could have sworn that someone was pregnant but it turned out they were not. It's not like people carry around ID cards that say whether or not they're pregnant. It's impossible to regulate.

Exactly what nox said. I used to refuse to sell cigarettes to pregnant women when I worked in a tobacco shop all the time. Hell, I refused business for much less. It essentially came down to this: If she wants to get her fix, she can get it elsewhere. That's her choice, and that's fine. But I won't have a part in it. I respect the choice of other businesses to do the same.

Would you be willing to pour beer down an infant's throat? Would you be willing to give a beer to someone who you knew was going to feed it to a baby? Why is it different if the baby hasn't been born yet? I think it goes without saying that businesses should have the right to refuse service to anyone. This would extend to pregnant women, I imagine.

I have some rules of my area I would like to share here, I will not share the link to my land just yet as I havent fully set up, but please expect pictures to be coming to this thread soon too. If you are on Secondlife, if these rules sound good to you and you wish to visit, please stop on by. Still setting up now though. Welcome to your new home I have some rules for you, but they are simple and won'tbe that hard to follow. 1. Please pay rent on time. you will have two warnings about this before you are evicted. 2. Please stay within prim limits of your rental. There will be a prim counter in your rental, so you can see how many you have up and how many you have left, please dont go over your limit. The limits are set becuase I am sharing my overall prim count with you and have divided up these prims on the property, if you DO go over, I will get notices from the GLH (German Land Holding) Notifying me I am over prim, so please, lets stay with our limits. 3. Please do not decorate my sidewalks, keep all prims inside your rental unit. The prim counter does not count prims outside the unit, unless you know how to count your prims, please don't go over them. 4. I will inlude a free furniature set along with this notecard, you can use it, but you may also purchase your very own and use that instead, please feel free to use what you like, as long as you stay within your alotted prim count. 5. If you unpack an item, please clean up after yourself. Though I strive to have a family like atmosphere, this is not your mother's house. I will have access to whatever prims you put down and if you unpack something not copyable, it will get deleted instead of returned to you. To avoid this is easy, pick up your boxes. 7. No temp rezzer items allowed. Temp rezzers are boxes with code that put toegther large objects, this can lag the entire sim. I would rather no one use any temp rezzers on my land, If you do not know what I mean. Contact Betyourbippy or goodchildlegacy and we will be more than happy to help explain this to you in further detail. 8. If you rent one of my shops, you will have more prims than anyone else at a higher cost, becuase shops are intended for you to sell your goods. You may have a sign indicating the shops name, but again, then it is up to YOU to include that one prim in with your total count, as prim counters only count prims inside the dwelling. If you decide to rent a shop, I encourage you to rent a sign board somewhere to advertise your goods, I will even pay one month of lindens to you to put on that board. This brings people to my area, I encourage this. 9. No public nudity. If you are wearing an unpacked item and it happens to knock off your shirt or pants/dress/skirt, no one will give you any problems, it is up to you then to realize you're naked and fix it. I want my place to be family friendly, so please lets not have public nudity. 10. Rules are subject to change at any time. Should the rules change, myself or Godric Goodchild will send out note cards to the tennants revising the rules. CO OWNERS: Betyourbippy (Skye Muller) Goodchildlegacy (Godric Goodchild) MANAGERS: Hein888 (Hein Muller)

If you do, and you want to advertise for my land on your channel, I will give you (and Vi if she wishes to join too) free rent on any house or appartment of your choice, excluding shops, for as long as you wish to live there.

It's quite clear from this thread, plus talking to people outside this thread that people like the old system better. However, as per the poll, it seems people still want the clubs to exist in some way. I hope I've struck a good balance. I've put the regular old forums back, but I've also left clubs active. Members are free to make their own clubs without having them approved now. The NSFW section of the forums will remain in clubs rather than the regular forums too. This ensures the utmost privacy for anyone posting in that section.

After being asked 3 times in one interview, Theresa May refused to say that she would support Brexit if she had the chance to vote again. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/oct/10/theresa-may-refuses-to-say-if-she-would-vote-for-brexit-in-fresh-poll Theresa May clearly isn't pro-Brexit, so the question I'd like to ask is whether or not you think she is the person best suited to the task of leading Britain through the Brexit process. Do you think she should carry on in her position, or should she make way for a clear pro-Brexit politician, whose heart is actually in the work that they would be doing? Personally, I think she should step down. I like her less every day, and I have zero confidence in her ability to lead the country through Brexit.
  18. 1 point
I think a big part of the problem with Theresa May is that she seems to be trying to appease both sides of the Brexit argument... only to upset them both.

I agree. One of the things I "learned" (it's common sense really, so I didn't so much learn it. More reinforced) in management was that people are a lot more effective at doing something when they're enthusiastic about it. It goes without saying, but it's wouldn't just get you a better deal, but perhaps a better deal in a faster time as well. One of the reasons the Netherlands has a 4 day working week as standard is because the productivity drastically increased, meaning it was more efficient for give workers a longer weekend. One of the things I've repeatedly noticed watching interviews with Theresa in is not only her lack of enthusiasm but also the lack of progress and how vague her stance is on it all. The whole process seems like a slog and it shouldn't be. We've had well over a year to figure out where we stand and what our options are, but up until recently we haven't learned a whole lot about what we're actually going to do. That said, she's clearing up after Dave, who basically got things off to a very very bad start. So with that in mind, she's doing okay given the situation, but I still see a lot of room for improvement.

Not entirely sure why you class Thatcher and Reagan as "strong libertarians" on the poll, especially when the site you linked points out that she's clearly heavily authoritarian: Regardless, here are my results:

I miss the old set up too, it was user friendly, not that the clubs aren't and I like the clubs, but there seems to be a lack of organization for the clubs. When someone posts sometthing new in any of the clubs, the order of how they appear changes, so maybe some organization on that would be good. I liked the way the forum was before, as it was more organized than now, I like clubs too because it gives everyone control of what they want to see in their clubs and if they don't like something said, they can ban the person from their club.

I forgot about this thread. Businesses do have the right to refuse, that has never, ever been brought into question at all but unless youre actively gonna start making women do a pregnancy test, and you can't and even if you could some contraceptives will give a false positive, so again, you can't, to buy booze, you cannot tell if a women is pregnant or not just from a look over the counter. The only way to regulate it is by bringing in laws, at which point, you may aswell bring in laws to stop people buying enough booze to drive over the legal limit. There is no end in sight with that type of legislation but there is no other way that you can actually stop selling alcohol to pregnant women. ANY business can refuse service to ANYONE, that has never been disputed at all, a business absolutely can refuse service to a women they think is pregnant. Businesses should not be treated like political entities when we start telling them and giving them powers on who and what to sell, we lose our ability of choice. They are there to make money and the people who run them can decide who and what to sell to the general public, but you shouldn't want to place power into entities like this because they will just do what they can to make money, that means siding with political views that will make them money, but the realism of it is they should really remain neutral... That's what they are created for, to provide and sell, not become a political minefield. So unless you want something to be brought in, what is the point of this thread because businesses already do have the rights that you said, a person behind the til can do what you said... Just expect outrage from the general public for doing so and you, as a person, employee, stand by your morals when it hits the media. I don't ever believe in handing powers over to big businesses because they won't have majority of the population in mind.

Realistically speaking, business owners have a right to refuse service to anyone. We can't make them serve us. They could legally deny me from buying alcohol for any reason including pregnancy.

So I finally made a thread for this rather than posting random photos in other threads. Yes, I am a bioqueen. Meaning I am a biological woman doing exactly what drag queens do. Wigs, full makeup, heels, et c. I love embracing the femininity by becoming an extreme ideal version of myself. Though I still call what I do "drag" due to the fact it is still under the drag umbrella. So who am I? My drag persona is called Milky Juicy. Funny enough, as sexual as my name sounds, I actually ripped it off from the title of an obscure CD I found at a thrift store for $2. Sexy sure, but it's from an alternative folk album. My aesthetic is late 80's-early 90's band groupie girl, or a waitress trying to join a motorcycle gang in 1987. Whichever. No I shouldn't have to explain what my "look" is, since you'll be able to see that in looks below, but I like to include it. Since I am a real girl, I try to really hone in on a good performance. I do this by often creating a character for a song. You can half ass being a drag queen if you are a biological guy, so I feel I'm under a closer watch and try to be out of the box since I already stick out as it is. How did I begin/How long I've been doing it. Well I was introduced to RuPaul's Drag Race in my freshman year of college and I became obsessed with it, like most young queens do. The first time I went out in "drag" was well over a year ago, towards the beginning of 2016. I then continued to try to do drag makeup in my room. For months I collected and bought clothes, wigs, makeup, tights, et c. But this June I finally got out and performed at a bar in Birmingham (an hour drive from where I live). So in total, I've been performing for 2 months now but have greatly improved in such a short time. Where I'm going. Well this portion isn't going to be me saying "I'M GONNA BE A STAR" don't worry. However this is something I want to continue in the years to come as I've already started gaining fans. Christ almighty, I've sounded pretentious this entire time, but that took the cake. It's truly a jarring experience when people say that you're their favorite performer. Any who, I've been asked to be a part of a photoshoot project about drag queens, booked for a gig on campus in October that raises money for an LGBT based charity, and I'll be performing in another charity based event a week after this is posted. Looks (oldest to newest), most can be seen on my drag insta: sistermilkyjuicy Ask anything you'd like about what I do if you please! I'm sure this will be looked over but there are titties hidden here

I had a friend that looked pregnant, but isnt. She is in her late 40's, has had four children and is a heavy drinker. She legit looks pregnant even though is having menopause symptoms. Again, I do not support pregnant women drinking, but if a woman LOOKS pregnant, but is not pregnant, she should be able to buy as much alchol as she wants.

This is a hard one. If there is scientific evidence that guarantees a baby will be harmed then I think that's where the place is for this discussion. However, if you're going to stop pregnant women drinking then surely you should also stop them smoking. Where do you draw the line? Should we stop them buying junk food since that's bad for you and could harm the baby? It's a hard thing to decide on. I do think that businesses should have the right to refuse their services (for the most part). I think that if a bakery doesn't want to bake a cake for a gay wedding, they shouldn't have to, and I think that if a bakery doesn't want to bake a cake for a white nationalist convention, then they also shouldn't have to. The only time I think businesses should not be allowed to refuse all services is when you are talking about large corporations, and even then, I'm not fully against them refusing most services. I just don't think that the likes of Sony should have the ability to refuse someone the ability to purchase one of their game consoles. Ban them from a certain store for misconduct? Sure. But I think there are certain instances where it's not reasonable to let a business have 100% power. Give them 99% power. I just fear specific big businesses having so much power that they can directly impact what people can and can't do. That's part of the reason I think that there is room for certain regulations on the likes of Facebook and Google to force them to uphold full freedom of speech. Certain businesses get too big and too powerful, and when they get to that stage then there have to be some boundaries. As a Libertarian, I am for small government, and I fear the government having too much power. But I think it's just as valid to be concerned over businesses becoming that exact same thing that we Libertarians fear governments becoming. I do think that businesses should probably be allowed to refuse the sale of alcohol to certain individuals. Businesses already do this to rowdy/violent customers who are clearly very drunk, and they do it to people they cannot identify as old enough to drink. I think the issue with this situation though, would be in telling who is actually pregnant. Often times you would never know someone was pregnant, and sometimes you can't tell if they're just fat or if they're pregnant. There's no real way to know unless you asked them, and even then they could lie about it. It's not like people walk around with a 'proof of non-pregnancy' card. So I think that it's a thing that could never actually be introduced, even if I do think that businesses should be able to refuse the sale of the alcohol.

As you can probably see, RR looks a bit different than you're probbaly used to. The site was dying, and I've decided to take it in a new direction. With the latest IPB update, a feature called 'Clubs' was added. I've decided to push full steam ahead with this feature, and essentually make it the new focus of RR. Looking at the RR homepage, you will notice that almost all of the sub-forums are gone. This is because all sub-forums/topics have been moved to clubs. Clubs enables us to allow members to pick and choose the content they want to see. Are you someone who enjoys movies? Then join the movie club. Are you someone who doesn't like drama? Then don't join the drama club. We even have a NSFW club for those of us who still want to view and post that sort of content. Clubs also enabled us to have different feels throughout the forums. For instance, there are a lot of members who do not want insults being thrown around, and who would rather only have people being nice to one another. Well, via clubs, we can have it so that certain clubs will not tolerate certain types of behaviour. Meaning that if someone breaks one of the club rules, they are banned from that club, without having to be banned from the site. Clubs can be made for pretty much anything, and I encourage members to create their own clubs. However, all clubs will go through a validation process, meaning that myself or one of the other staff members will have to approve or disapprove of your club. This helps to prevent an influx of repetitive or unecessary clubs from flooding the site. Finally, having the club system means that we can have sectional moderators. It means that we can take people who are very interested in a single subject, and give them moderation power over it. Please do note that moderating will mainly be needed in regards to maintaining clubs, meaning that mods will be expected to keep their clubs looking good, and they will also be expected to try and boost activity in their clubs as best they can. If anyone is interested in being a mod for a club that has already been created then please send me a PM and let me know. Over the next few months, I am going to be extensively advertising RR on various platforms. I did this in the past and it has never once failed me. But for the last 18 months or so, I have neglected a lot of the things I used to do, and in turn, the site activity has greatly decreased. I hope to undo the damage done to RR from my inactivity. So here's to a fresh new direction of RR.
