Cube Personality Test

Recommended Posts

Sappho    215

The cube personality test is supposed to force you to look your subconscious and reveal things you may not be aware of.

If you're going to do it please put your answers in a spoiler just in case someone glimpses your answers.

Time to use your imagination...

You are walking alone in the desert and you come across a cube.

How big is the cube? Where exactly is it? Is it buried in the sand or is it sitting on top? Is it floating? How big is it? Is the cube moving? What’s it made of?

As you’re observing the cube, you begin to notice that there’s also a ladder in the desert.

What’s the ladder made of? How long is it? Is it an old ladder? Where is it in relation to the cube?

Now imagine that a horse has appeared in the desert.

Is the horse moving at all? If so, in which direction? What does it look like? Is it wearing anything (a saddle, reigns)?

Next, imagine flowers in this desert.

How many flowers can you see? Where are they in relation to the other objects in the desert? Where are they growing from?

Uh oh, a thunderstorm is setting in.

Is the wind strong? Is the storm far away, or are you right in the thick of it? Is the storm affecting the horse, flowers, cube or ladder at all?

what your answers mean:

Spoiler

Cube:

If the cube you’ve envisioned is large, you’re likely a very confident person. If it’s small, you’re most likely shy and modest. If the cube is dug into the ground, it means you are a planner that thinks far into the future. If the cube is sitting on top of the ground, that means you’re a very businesslike thinker. A cube that is moving signifies that you are someone who thinks out of the box and avoids convention. If the cube is transparent that means people can see right through you. The material the cube is made of represents feelings, and how tough of a front you put up.

Ladder:

If you’ve envisioned the ladder touching the cube, this means you’re very connected to your friends and rely on them for support. If the ladder is detached, this means you prefer to be independent. If the ladder is below the cube, your friends see you as an authority figure. If the cube is on the same level, you and your friends are equals. If the ladder is above the cube, this means you see your friends as authority figures in your life. If the ladder is short, this means you prefer keeping a small circle of friends. If it’s a long ladder, you’re an extrovert with many friends and acquaintances.

Horse:

If the horse you imagined is a strong workhorse, that means your ideal partner is hardworking and reliable. If you’ve imagined a more delicate horse, that means your ideal partner is likely someone who takes pride in his or her appearance and enjoys being pampered. If the horse is tied up, then it shows the need to be controlling in a relationship. If the horse is free and not saddled, it means you view your lover as uncontrollable, unpredictable. If the horse is far away from the cube or moving in the opposite direction, this means you’re distant from your present partner or far from attaining your ideal one.

Flowers:

The number of flowers you imagined represent the number of children you would like to have. If the flowers are close to the cube, it means you desire a close relationship with your kids – or already have one. If the flowers are far from the cube, this means you do not value having a close relationship with your kids.

Storm:

Is the storm you imagined far off in the distance? That means you’re living life with little worry. If the storm is close to the cube, you’re ready to face conflict. If the storm is directly over the cube, your troubles are overwhelming you right now. If the storm is passing, the issue is current with a resolution in the near future. If the storm is staying put, it has been an ongoing obstacle in your life with no resolution in sight. The size of the storm represents how big of an obstacle this is to you, as does the distance. The further away the storm the less importance you place on it. If the storm is violent it means this obstacle is causing quite some grief.

You are walking alone in the desert and you come across a cube.

The cube is small, mostly clear glass, and rotating. It has a hint of blue shimmer when it turns. It would be floating around my tummy-ish in height.

As you’re observing the cube, you begin to notice that there’s also a ladder in the desert.

The ladder is white and very, very tall. It's leaning on nothing but doesn't fall.

Now imagine that a horse has appeared in the desert.

The horse is grazing close to the cube, a little off to the left and behind the cube. I know it said horse but I couldn't help but imagine a unicorn! It's white, long flowing hair, and has no saddle or anything.

Next, imagine flowers in this desert.

Where the horse is grazing has a spot of grass/flowers, under the cube is covered in flowers, and where the ladder is on the ground has some.

Uh oh, a thunderstorm is setting in.

The storm is behind the mountains, this desert has mountains, and the sky is completely black to the left (aside from the flashing of lightening) as it moves towards the objects it's clear and to the right it lightens to puffy white clouds, which meet with the ladder.

my 10/10 drawing of it

You are walking alone in the desert and you come across a cube.

The cube is small in size, probably the size of a regular desktop lamp. It is partly in the sand, but not entirely. It is made of some kind of metal.

As you’re observing the cube, you begin to notice that there’s also a ladder in the desert.

The ladder is made wood and it maybe 10 feet tall. It doesn't look new or old, and it isn't close to the cube, maybe 30 feet away from it.

Now imagine that a horse has appeared in the desert.

It isn't moving its legs. The head is moving and it's making some noise. It is brown with some white patches and is wearing a brown leather saddle and reigns. It is just a bit closer to the cube than the ladder is, and it is on the right hand side of the ladder if looking from at the cube.

Next, imagine flowers in this desert.

I see a few dandilions around the cube just sitting there in the sand.

Uh oh, a thunderstorm is setting in.

Moderate strength wind is approaching from the distance. The horse is making more noise because it knows the wind is approaching, but it isn't affecting anything else yet.

Yeah, almost none of what it says those answers mean is right for me.

I mostly think it's really neat to see what other people imagine.

also, of course of all the flowers you pick one considered to be a pest

You are walking alone in the desert and you come across a cube.

The cube is a little bit smaller than me and it's sitting on top of the sand, but the bottom of the cube has partially sunk into the sand. The material is blue and crystal like, but while solid, the inside moves around in an almost fluid manner.

As you’re observing the cube, you begin to notice that there’s also a ladder in the desert.

The ladder is made of strong, sturdy and treated oak wood and it is slightly taller than the cube when upright. It's also propped up against the cube at about a 30-45 degree angle, with only the top part of the ladder touching the corner of the cube.

Now imagine that a horse has appeared in the desert.

It is a dark horse with large black feathered wings and is about 25 meters away from the cube, but facing towards is as if about to head in that direction. It is wild and thus untamed, with no saddle or reigns.

Next, imagine flowers in this desert.

There are a small number of flowers, but all are positioned around the cube, some are even touching the cube itself.

Uh oh, a thunderstorm is setting in.

The storm is in the distance and judging by the slight breeze wind, it will pass the cube, but at it will be 1km away at its closest point when is does pass. Close enough to see the light show, but far enough away not to be directly effected by it. The storm does not effect the horse or flowers, however the passing shower from the storm provides both the plants and horse with water.

Note entirely sure how to interpret some of this information.

You are walking alone in the desert and you come across a cube.

The cube is huge, relatively the size of a multi-level house, levitating just above the sand. Its surface is reflective, like a mirror, but there is a visible luminescence to it as if there is a light turned on inside.

As you’re observing the cube, you begin to notice that there’s also a ladder in the desert.

The ladder is old and wooden, half leaning against the cube and half broken into pieces on the ground.

Now imagine that a horse has appeared in the desert.

The horse is lying dead beneath the cube, a carcass stripped apart by scavengers.

Next, imagine flowers in this desert.

There is a cactus on either side of the cube sporting tiny, beautiful pink flowers.

Uh oh, a thunderstorm is setting in.

There is lightning striking in the distance and thunder rolling all around me. I can see and hear the rain approaching torrentially, but I am excited and welcome the much-needed hydration.

You are walking alone in the desert and you come across a cube.

How big is the cube? Where exactly is it? Is it buried in the sand or is it sitting on top? Is it floating? How big is it? Is the cube moving? What’s it made of?

Small enough to fit in both my hands, rubix sized. On top. Not floating. Not moving. Dark wood.

As you’re observing the cube, you begin to notice that there’s also a ladder in the desert.

What’s the ladder made of? How long is it? Is it an old ladder? Where is it in relation to the cube?

Lighter wood. About 6ft. No its polished as if new. Behind and to the left.

Now imagine that a horse has appeared in the desert.

Is the horse moving at all? If so, in which direction? What does it look like? Is it wearing anything (a saddle, reigns)?

It's chewing something but not leaning down to eat. Brown, with a black mane and tail, strong. No.

Next, imagine flowers in this desert.

How many flowers can you see? Where are they in relation to the other objects in the desert? Where are they growing from?

Loads, almost covering the sand around me. Short so not taller than the horse but taller than the cube. Through the sand.

Uh oh, a thunderstorm is setting in.

Is the wind strong? Is the storm far away, or are you right in the thick of it? Is the storm affecting the horse, flowers, cube or ladder at all?

Very, it's breaking the petals off the flowers. Right in it. The horse is still but its mane and tail are moving with the wind, the cube is still.

Well some of these are depressing as fuck.
